Unique painkiller for multiple sclerosis unlikely to win U.S. approval.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) – A cannabis-based painkiller for sufferers of multiple sclerosis is expected to be in Canadian pharmacies this summer, but whether it appears on U.S. pharmacy shelves is a key question.
Now if this doesn't speak loudly to the hypocrisy of our country's drug and healthcare policies, nothing does. I'm always surprised by the contrasts and conflicts raised by the rhetoric on issues relating to abortion, right-to-die, healthcare, sex, and drugs (both the so-called "illegal" ones vs. the pharma industry ones). Put these side-by-side some time and feel the confusion…
