The Secret Service threatnening 14 year olds, this is what’s come to

Posted by direwolff on October 16, 2006

It’s sad if this story is actually true.  Surely we all understand the illegality of threatning our fine upstanding President, but with the lessons he’s teaching the world, and his cavalier “you’re either with us or against us” type lines, is it any wonder that a 14 year old might find wishing Bush dead to be the only appropriate to attitude to have. What’s more sad is how the Secret Service finds it appropriate to deal with such matters. In Haiti, back in the ’70s & ’80s, the then president (aka. dictator) Jean-Claude Duvalier (“Papa Doc”) has a secret police called the “Ton-ton Macoute” (translates to “boogey men”) that would show up at dissidents’ homes in the middle of the night, take them out and either beat them or kill them. I guess by those standards, the Secret Service’s behavior here might be considered somewhat gentlemanly…sad.
